21:03 - Total Attention

In 2006 production powerhouse PAJAM(Destiny’s child, Nsync, Boyz2Men) came with their own boyband 21:03 at a time when boybands where going out of style. The first ablum was a solid disc with lots of hit potentiaal on it like Sorry and Spiritual Bizness, but the question still remained if 21:03 where one hit wonders or more. With their sophmore release album Total Attention they seem to prove that they’re more. The album catches your attention and it keeps your attention with almost every track. The first track displays 21:03’s harmony. Them boys can sing! The new interpretation of Down By The Riverside. The boys start acapella and later on in the song the beat makes your head nod.
The first single You is a clubtrack in which 21:032 tell us that they would not have made it this far without God. Holding On to You is a super R&B track(I hope this will be the third single) about holding on to our Almight God. In Time for A Change they talk about what is going on in the media and the pain in the world. We gotta make a change. Step up our game! Time For A Change aks us to not only watch but do something. A relevant and crucial message. In Cover Me we hear the gospelveterans Fred Hammond, Smokie Norful and J Moss. In this song they ask people to cover them with prayer. In Brace Up they used a sample of When Doves Cry. A track I had to get used to, but now I’m loving it. In the live version of The Power Of Christ the boys let us hear they can sing live too.
The album is a good seconde effort. 21:03 makes you dance, think and they get d Total Attention with their new album.
This album gets 4 out of 5 stars
