DJ Morph use to be the top DJ of Beatmart. He used to mix the Best Of Submissions series. After 3 mixalbums with Beatmart he delivers his own independent album International. The album has the same concept, but the disc is much better and it maybe the best hip hop compilation that has been released in years. There are so many tracks on the album that it’s impossible to write a review that describes the quality and the debt of this album, but we will do our best.
International begins with an intro about mixtapes. They talk about the memories of getting your first mixtape. The feeling and what is was like. The second track on the album is Glorious with Sho Baraka. The song describes the glory of God and all that He is. The beat, and the hook are great, but the words are the things that stay the most in your head. The second single of the disc Can’t Break Us with Frontlynaz is about being unbreakable with God at your side. Frontlynaz show us why they're nominated for a Stellar Award. The remix of this one must be hot! Let The Record Drop is a wonderful clubbanger with Rhema Soul. G-Styles spits a few bars and lays down a fresh cut as always!! Big Nate, K-Drama and Khul Rhema keept it gangsta with Loose With It. The titelsong international is a club/dancetrack about the great commision in Mathew 28:19. We need to keep the gospel International. Where Can I Go is a beautiful R&B ballad with a cat I did not know untill i heard this mixtape. Tony P is a great singer that touches your soul with this track. All 18 songs have their own style, feel and combine lyrics about faith and life. I’m glad that DJ Morph has gone independent. International of DJ Morph is a gospel hip hop album of A quality. You need to cop that disc!
This album gets 4,5 out of 5 stars.
